to Foulsham Parish Council

Foulsham is a quiet, historic village in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside.  Its origins can be traced back to at least the 11th century and, to this day, it retains a wealth of attractive and interesting architecture from a bygone era.  The village is situated just off the A1067 approximately 16 miles from the City of Norwich and 8 miles from Fakenham.


Street Lights

The Parish Council is currently undertaking phase 3 of its programme of planned street light replacements.


Footpath Closure

Footpath FP11 is currently closed due to unsafe bridges. Highways are aware and are dealing with this.


Reclaim the Lane

Foulsham Parish Council is pleased to be supporting "Reclaim the Lane", a project to restore Fox and Hounds Lane to a condition suitable for all.


Hornbeam Trees

15 March 2021

The Parish Council is pleased to report that it has planted three new hornbeam trees along the verge of Twyford Lane, replacing valuable wildlife habitat which was previously destroyed.

The Parish Council would like to remind all dog owners to clean up after their dogs. The Public Spaces Protection Order came into effect on 1st March 2019.
